One factor that relates to obesity and genetics is your body type. Bodies come in all different shapes and sizes and some body types are more prone to body fat accumulation in certain areas, such as the abdomen, buttocks or thighs. Just because you have a certain body type does not mean you can’t lose weight, but what it does mean is that losing body fat in certain areas may be more difficult.
